Ocean Lifeguard Wage and Salary Surveys Surveys compiled by Michael "Spike" Fowler - Lifeguard Supervisor; Monmouth County Park System Survey documents are intended for use by New Jersey Ocean Lifeguard leaders.   Data was provided by a top ranking lifeguard officer, beach manager, or borough clerk/CFO for each agency.  Every effort was made to ensure accuracy, but I do not accept responsibility for errors.  If you wish your agency to be included in future surveys, please contact me.  Although the survey covers most ocean beaches in New Jersey, it does not quite cover every beach. The survey is hampered by beaches that don't respond to requests for information.  The purpose is to help the lifeguard community in New Jersey improve terms and conditions of employment and help establish wage parity among agencies and competing seasonal work opportunities.
